Wordle is a simple yet addictive daily word-guessing game in which players try to identify a hidden five-letter word in six attempts. After each guess the game gives feedback using colored tiles: letters in the correct position, letters that appear in the word but in a different position, and letters that are not in the word. That minimalist feedback loop—easy to understand but challenging to master—has driven Wordle’s rapid rise in popularity and spawned many variations.
